Instructional Design & Learning Technologies

Developing eLearning from Theory to Activity

Although it might seem like a simple skill jump from developing a well-prepared face-to-face training program to an equal online presentation, usually the success lies in the preparation and adaptation of your materials, delivery style, and expected outcomes. The concept of thoughtful program development using an ADDIE-like model is still critical to training success—no matter what the delivery vehicle.

In this workshop, we’ll return to adult learning fundamentals to explore the principles that will increase your eLearning design's impact before you even put pen to paper (or cursor to screen). From there, we'll implement storyboarding best practices to convert and build activity template you can take back to work to build your own improved and theoretically sound eLearning courses.
