CHAPTER LEARNING EVENT

Training Delivery

Creating an Interactive Training Environment

Technical training can often feel dry and boring, especially when learners aren't highly motivated to participate. Have you struggled to capture their attention, engage their minds, or even earn their trust? Connections are at the heart of learning transfer and are a critical component of learning application, but how do you create those connections?

You have several potent tools in your arsenal—purposeful activities, interactive learning, and storytelling. Using these together will capture your listeners' attention in ways that will aid in retention and motivate action.

Join us as we apply purposeful activities to a SMART Goals training case study. From there, we'll explore storytelling and learn how to craft narratives to improve learner competencies and create an engaged environment.

Bring your most mundane presentation with you—you know the one—that you want to liven up. In our workshop, we'll work together to give it color and breathe more life into it the next time you deliver it.
