CHAPTER LEARNING EVENT
As companies expand their business to global markets, the need to develop content, communicate, and do business with offices outside the US can present some challenges. Differences between cultures, at times subtle and unspoken, can make or break a business deal and either create an atmosphere of acceptance or of isolation.
Understanding how to communicate effectively with individuals who speak another language or who rely on different means to reach a common goal can be the key to global success and can provide a real competitive advantage.
In this presentation you will learn how to:
Create content (including video images) that is appropriate for global audiences
Work effectively with those who have different views of on leadership and teamwork
Deal with different points of view regarding time and deadlines
Learn to respect cultural diversity via proper etiquette
Bridge differences and create a balanced approach
